Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a client find an Engineering Technician in North Canton, Ohio.
The Engineering Technician will play a critical role in supporting production operations by assisting engineers with job routing development, inventory management, and project management. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with ERP systems and data tools, and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Assist engineers in developing and building job routings to optimize production workflow and efficiency.
- Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with production schedules, machine capacity, and availability to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, monitoring work-in-process, updating systems, and ensuring accuracy across all records.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and co-workers to meet supply chain and production requirements.
- Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and programming software to support engineering initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, plant management, and purchasing teams to resolve operational issues and align production plans with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including job data, bill of material (BOM) data, master data, and information within MRP/ERP systems.
- Audit worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify compliance with quality assurance specifications and maintain data integrity.
- Work with purchasing to assure material availability for critical projects
- Experience in a metal manufacturing facility
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management preferred.
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and their application in manufacturing environments.
