Experienced Maintenance Tech

Banyan Living, a premier name in luxury apartment management in the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas, is eager to hire an Experienced Maintenance Technician. In this essential role, you will ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

Your main responsibilities will involve performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various building systems. Your expertise will be fundamental in upholding the quality and safety of our facilities.

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Perform a variety of repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance.
• Assist with turnover tasks for vacant units to ensure readiness for new residents.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory usage.
• Collaborate with team members and management to enhance property upkeep and safety.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and conducting work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to be available for on-call duties and emergency repairs as necessary.
