STEM Instructor Assistant

This person will assist:

* The instructor in delivering a themed experiential four-day STEM program for middle school students.

* The STEM Summer Program director and staff when needed.

Instructor Assistant duties will include but are not limited to:

* Attend planning meetings

* Assist in delivering agreed upon content in an appropriate fashion.

* Assist with classroom management of approximately 15-20 middle schoolers.

* This includes but is not limited to assisting with delivering the content and supervising the students in your care.

* Assist with ensuring safety protocols are followed.

* Participate in review of the course afterward for improvement for next year.

* High School Degree

* Interest in STEM and/or STEM outreach and/or Education.

* Creativity and love of kids a must!

* Works well with middle school children.

* Some knowledge of a STEM field.

* Collaborative.

* Ability to follow instructions but also work independently.

* Complete required training, fingerprinting, and background check.

* This camp is a four-day camp offered twice in the month of June.

* The sessions will take place during the second and third week of June:
June 8-11 and June 15-18

* Camp hours are 9:00a.m.

- 3:30 p.m.

* Employees will be expected to arrive and begin working prior to the camp sessions begin.
