Kids' College Instructors will develop and teach classes for the summer Kids' College program.
Classes are offered to students in grades 1-3 and 4-7.
Instructor assignments can range from half-day to full-day, single-week, or multi-week.
Class topics are agreed upon between instructors and the Kids' College Program Director.
Instructors will develop and implement one-hour and/or one-and-a-half-hour classes appropriate for elementary and school-age students.
Instructors are responsible for student engagement, attendance, and classroom management.
Instructors will work with the Kids' College Program Director and Administrative Assistant to request and order materials, complete necessary paperwork, and attend instructor training, as needed (approximately once/year).
Teaching license and experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students preferred.
Creativity and love for kids are a must!
Ability to develop appropriate activities and implement classes for elementary and middle school students is required.
