Company Overview
Immunome is a clinical-stage targeted oncology company committed to developing first-in-class and best-in-class targeted cancer therapies. We are advancing an innovative portfolio of therapeutics, drawing on leadership that previously played key roles in the design, development, and commercialization of cutting‑edge therapies, including antibody‑drug conjugate therapies. Our pipeline includes varegacestat, a late‑clinical stage GSI; IM‑1021, a clinical‑stage ROR1 ADC; and IM‑3050, a FAP‑targeted radiotherapy that recently received IND clearance.
We are also advancing a broad portfolio of early stage ADCs pursuing undisclosed solid tumor targets.
As a Research Associate III at Immunome, Inc., you will be a key contributor to our research and development initiatives, driving the optimization and delivery of antibody‑drug conjugates (ADCs). In this role, you will design, produce, and characterize ADCs in support of program-specific objectives, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners. Your expertise in bioconjugation will provide critical insights that help advance our therapeutic pipeline and strengthen our scientific capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesResearch Design and Execution
- Generate high quality ADCs to enable advancement of named programs.
- Evaluate innovative bioconjugation and linker technologies.
- Assess develop ability of discovery stage ADCs.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to plan experiments aimed at advancing drug development projects.
- Independently perform laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols, maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor, documentation, and data integrity.
- Continuously optimize laboratory processes to improve workflow efficiency, reproducibility, and throughput.
- Manage ADC inventory and coordinate delivery of samples to cross‑functional partners.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Characterize biophysical properties of ADCs using techniques such as analytical SEC, HIC, PLRP, and LC‑MS; interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions to guide decision‑making.
- Collaborate with colleagues from diverse scientific disciplines to achieve project goals.
- Participate in project team meetings, providing expertise and insights to drive projects forward.
- Stay informed about the latest bioconjugation advancements in the ADC field.
- Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to the scientific growth of the research team.
- BS or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience (or 3 years of experience for MS) in preclinical drug development in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in bioconjugation techniques and demonstrated experience in ADC pre‑clinical development is a requirement.
- Proficient in analytical techniques and purification methods relevant to biologics and ADC development (SEC, HIC, PLRP, and LC‑MS, etc).
- Experience in antibody engineering and protein modification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate scientific concepts to non‑scientific stakeholders.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agilent Open Lab and Benchling is a plus.
