The Manufacturing Lab Technician is responsible for supporting the production of reagents used in various Bruker Spatial Biology /Nano String Analysis Systems, for example, nCounter® and Geo Mx®.
Responsibilities- Follow detailed work instructions according to process, product, and Quality System requirements.
- Accurately complete batch records following Good Documentation Practices.
- Work both independently and in a team environment.
- Perform incoming quality controls (QC) on raw materials.
- Prepare raw materials for inclusion in finished products.
- Manufacture reagents critical to various nCounter and Geo Mx assays and internal processes.
- Manufacture intermediate and finished products.
- A 2‑year associate’s degree in a scientific discipline or an industry‑relevant certificate program that includes coursework in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology or other life‑science areas.
- Previous exposure in a lab environment, including handling non‑to‑low‑hazard chemicals such as ethanol, acetone, etc.
- Analytical, organizational, documentation, and communications skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift and carry 20‑25 lbs., including freezer/refrigerator racks.
- Experience using a micropipette.
- Good manual dexterity to work with small volumes and load gels.
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full‑time position is $38,800 to $56,000 per year. Full‑time employees may also be eligible for a performance‑related incentive and a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays.
