Why this job matters

As a Pit Supervisor, you're the energy behind the action on the casino floor. You ll keep the games flowing, support your dealers, and ensure every guest enjoys a safe, fair, and exciting gaming experience. With your leadership and eye for detail, you ll balance operational integrity with world-class guest service-all while keeping the pit running smoothly.

What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Keep everything above board-ensure the pit team follows all federal, state, tribal, and company policies and procedures.
  • Be the expert-know the rules of every game you oversee and confidently guide both players and dealers.
  • Communicate clearly and often with guests, dealers, and leadership to keep the pit connected and efficient.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, professional, and approachable style.
  • Stay organized-accurately complete pit paperwork, payroll records, and sign-off documents.
  • Build guest connections by being visible, approachable, and attentive on the floor.
  • Represent your team with professionalism and integrity, especially in matters involving payroll or operations.
  • Lead by example with honesty, confidentiality, and a leadership style that inspires trust and excellence.
  • Join in on team meetings and training sessions to stay sharp and up to speed.
  • Bring our hospitality philosophy to life for both guests and fellow team members.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned).
Physical stuff to know

We ve included the typical physical parts of the job here. If you need an accommodation to do the work, just let us know—we re here to support you.

You ll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy. During your shift, you ll be on your feet and bending for extended periods of time, frequently walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. It s important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.

Just a heads-up-the casino environment may expose you to secondhand smoke.

This is a quick summary of the main duties and requirements—it might not cover everything you could be asked to do.

Must-haves and nice-to-haves
  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • GED or HS Diploma required with a certificate from a dealer school a plus.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the rules of all games supervised.
  • Proven competencies in communication skills, policy enforcement and employee management required.
  • Computer literacy and multi-game experience preferred.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
