Summary: To ensure that the areas of the physical buildings and grounds of the facility are maintained in a condition of operating excellence, safety and cleanliness.

Requirements: Perform duties and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, as assigned, to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Basic building maintenance (e.g. changing light bulbs, changing filters, etc.)
• Grounds maintenance (e.g. grass cutting, snow shoveling, etc.)
• Waste removal
• Dust control
• Glass and mirror cleaning
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Scrubbing
• Vacuuming
• Stripping and refinishing floors
• Replenishing and maintaining an inventory of custodial supplies
• Sterilizing and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces
• Other related duties as assigned by your Facility Supervisor, Lead Custodian, Principal and/or designate.

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in building and grounds maintenance or custodial services would be considered an asset.

Hours of Work: Shifts vary between 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM and by site. Hours are on a call out basis and are not guaranteed.

Rate of Pay: $21.78/hour
