Service Pallet, LLC is a leading provider of quality wood pallets, crates and industrial lumber that serves the manufacturing, distribution and warehouse industries. We are located in North Aurora, IL and have been in business for over 50 years.
About the RoleWe are seeking a "hunter" type sales person to add to our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking and other lead generation activities.
Responsibilities- Primary responsibility is the acquisition of new customers.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plan to achieve sales growth.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Build and foster relationships with purchasing managers, procurement and material managers and other key stakeholders that are responsible for buying pallets.
- Collaborate with internal teams at Service Pallet, LLC, including purchasing, operations, logistics and finance to ensure the positive engagement with prospective and current customers.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and quotations that effectively communicate a value position for the customer and Service Pallet, LLC.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and market intelligence using Service Pallet, LLC CRM software and other tools.
- Work independently. While this is an outside sales position, it is expected that the employee will report to the office daily and manage time in the field with customers, prospective customers and cold calling.
We are looking for the right fit. Do you excel in customer service? Candidates with entry level sales experience that are seeking an industrial sales position as well as established salespeople with experience in business-to-business sales are encouraged to pursue. Candidates coming from other industries that are customer service driven, as well as industrial salespersons with or without pallet sales experience.

Pay range and compensation packagePay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
