Heavy Equipment Operator

We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to support quarry and plant operations in a safety‑focused industrial environment.

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating mobile equipment to support limestone quarry and plant production activities. This role requires adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards while contributing to efficient material handling and site operations.

Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM (subject to operational requirements)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating heavy mobile equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, or other quarry machinery preferred
• Basic computer proficiency
• Welding and cutting experience is a plus
• MSHA Part 48 training preferred
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Knowledge of aggregate plant operations and industry terminology preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts as required

• Work performed in an active aggregate plant and quarry environment
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, heights, and confined spaces
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders, and lift materials as required
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, fall protection, and respirators
