Mechanical Engineer

This role sits on the mechanical team and focuses on designing and improving automated systems. You’ll be hands‑on with new designs and modifications to existing equipment, working on projects that involve robotics, machine vision, and other advanced automation technologies.

You’ll be responsible for taking concepts through detailed mechanical design, supporting projects from initial layout through final as‑built documentation, and making sure designs are accurate, manufacturable, and well‑documented.

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies in Solid Works for project‑specific automation systems.
• Update and revise drawings as designs evolve throughout a project.
• Create as‑built drawings reflecting final installed systems.
• Self‑check drawings and data to catch issues before they impact manufacturing or assembly.
• Develop 2D layout drawings for customer review.
• Build and maintain Bills of Materials for assemblies.
• Maintain part numbers and file structures.
• Create supporting documentation such as assembly instructions, parts manuals, and spare parts lists.

• Strong proficiency in Solid Works.
• Solid understanding of drafting fundamentals and best practices.
• Working knowledge of machining and fabrication methods.
• Ability to create or revise drawings from markups with high attention to detail.
