Overview
Maintenance Technician at Mammoth Holdings — Mammoth Holdings is a team of exceptional people intent on inspiring others to shine. A Maintenance Technician must understand all phases of industrial maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, low and high voltage electricity, PLCs, industrial motor controls, light industrial maintenance, and plumbing. Welding abilities are a plus. You will work on varied and continuously challenging projects with the ability to troubleshoot, solve dynamic issues, and stay hands-on.
Our maintenance team takes pride in their work and is involved in regular service intervals, new equipment installs, and large-scale upgrades.
Location:
North Augusta, SC. Standard full-time role with compensation details below.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Repair machines or systems using the necessary tools.
- Monitor operation by observing gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot operating issues and determine corrective actions.
- Control equipment or system operations and conduct quality control tests and inspections to evaluate performance.
- Apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and approaches.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment for a given job.
- Practice active listening, ask clarifying questions, and communicate findings effectively.
- Exercise judgment and decision making to weigh costs and benefits of potential actions.
- Monitor performance and take corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate actions in relation to others and communicate clearly with team members.
- Manage time effectively for self and team tasks.
- Friendly, cooperative, attentive with strong mechanical aptitude

- Maintains a professional appearance and can meet demanding goals
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, low/high voltage electricity, PLCs, and motor controls; plumbing and light industrial maintenance; welding abilities are a plus.
- Work in various areas, inside and outside, in a loud environment due to car wash equipment.
- Constant movement, heavy lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, reaching, and stooping.
- Salary: $25 per hour
