Retail Sales Representatives (RSR) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving.
They immerse themselves in significant connections with customers and are passionate about the connected world, continuously building expertise in uncovering needs and educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is a learning role; new associates work with their team and proactively build skills and proficiencies.
Job Responsibilities- Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty.
- Help customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store.
- Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store.
- Side‑by‑side sell personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, including accessories and IoT devices.
- Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
- Consistently use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plan benefits, and ‘live unlimited’ messaging.
- Complete training on T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, processes, knowledge of systems and reference resources.
- Make the most of time on shift, consistently seeking information and learning about innovations.
- Handle cash and support store operations as needed.
- Collaborate with T‑Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolving issues seamlessly.
- Identify and hand off small‑business leads.
- Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.
- Passionate customer advocate who can connect authentically and have fun.
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas.
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
- At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred.
