Role Description

This is a part-time on-site position located in North Augusta, SC, for a Veterinarian. The Veterinarian will provide medical care for a variety of animals, including conducting spay/neuter surgeries, administering vaccinations, and ensuring overall animal health. Other responsibilities include collaborating with support staff, maintaining accurate medical records, and promoting pet wellness through client education and outreach programs.

Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine, including preventive care, and surgical procedures, particularly spay/neuter surgeries.
  • Strong skills in animal handling and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Commitment to animal welfare, with a passion for promoting preventive care and addressing overpopulation issues.
  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program and a valid state veterinary license to practice in South Carolina
  • Proficiency in adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
  • Experience in high-volume spay/neuter clinics is preferred but not required.
