Overview
The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Branch Customer Service Representative to promote ACG products and services, provide customer satisfaction, and support branch operations. This is an on-site, full-time role located at the branch facility. The position is available within a program that sources qualified talent for partner companies and is open to Veterans, transitioning military personnel, National Guard and Reserve Members, military spouses, wounded warriors, and their caregivers.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide service to meet their needs as the face of the branch.
- Promote products and services, including membership, travel products (car, hotel, basic tour packages), and select banking products.
- Generate leads, share travel and insurance specials, and provide travel information.
- Respond to customer inquiries and escalate to senior staff or agents when appropriate.
- Provide cashiering services: process payments for insurance policies (installment, lapse, or reinstatement), travel tickets, and travel money products; process remittance/depository transfers; balance cash drawer.
- Receive and resolve member/customer complaints; seek management assistance when appropriate.
- Provide administrative support to travel and/or insurance sales staff during peak periods.
- Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required: High School/GED
Education and Work Experience- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Work Experience:
Customer-focused environment experience; ability to provide timely customer solutions; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong problem-solving and multitasking capabilities; prioritization to meet customer service goals.
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with people.
- Basic mathematical skills for monetary transactions.
- Effective verbal and written communication; teamwork; professionalism in demeanor and service.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work irregular hours including holidays, weekends, and community events.
This is an in-office, on-site position. Employees will service ACG members in person and operate from a branch facility.
Compensation and Benefits- Hourly wage: $19.00 – $21.50, based on experience, with incentives and potential annual bonus based on performance.
