Cnc Production Operator

CNC PRODUCTION OPERATOR - FIRST SHIFT

HOURS:

M-TH, 6AM TO 3:30 PM, F 6AM TO 10AM

Position Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for operating assigned machining equipment in supporting the manufacturing needs of the company. This includes preventative maintenance and machine changeovers. Additionally, all Alloy Holdings employees must support and live the company values:

• Performs machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
• Maintains specifications by observing and taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance and processes.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.

• Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred
• Should be proficient with CNC controls and manually operated milling equipment.
• Must possess strong knowledge of machines and tools with regard to safety, use and repair.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team
• Ability to use measuring equipment
• Ability to operate machinery
• 1-3 years of work-related experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods, frequent bending and reaching.
