Special Education Teacher – Full‑Time.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for curriculum planning and implementation of IEPs. Collaborate and coordinate with administrators, educators, and instructional assistants. Co‑treat/provide services to students with the school counselor, therapists, and other educators. Liaise with families and providers, providing educational services to students in partnership with other students.
QualificationsIdeal candidate will have a Massachusetts DESE state certification as a Special Education Teacher, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and effective problem‑solving abilities. Candidate must be knowledgeable and proficient with federal and state laws, regulations, and the IEP team meeting process.
RequirementsCurrent Massachusetts License Required.
Salary / BenefitsSalary/benefits as per NAFT Teachers Local 4292 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
