We're Hiring:
Mid- to Senior-Level Intellectual Property Associate Attorney - Atlanta, GA

Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience and other job-related factors, in accordance with applicable law.

Our nationally recognized Intellectual Property team is growing—and we’re looking for a driven Intellectual Property Associate (Mid- to Senior-Level) to join us in Atlanta, GA or any of our firm offices.

• Interview inventors and prepare technically sound, strategic patent applications
• Handle all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution
  , including ex parte appeals
• Conduct validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate studies
  , with supporting opinion letters
• Provide legal guidance on patent, trademark, copyright
  , and basic licensing issues
• Gain experience in IP licensing and litigation
• Work closely with partners, associates, and staff to ensure seamless case management
• Stay ahead of IP trends and contribute to our thought leadership

• 5+ years of hands-on patent prosecution experience
• JD from an accredited law school
• Technical degree (BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar preferred)
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Deep understanding of IP law
