Schedule: Per Diem

Pay rate: $36.00/hour (RN)

The Outpatient Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• Controlling, counting, and appropriately documenting onsite medication.
• Educating clients on medication use, purpose, side effects, and related information.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribing physician’s orders.
• Assisting in the admission process and documenting substance use diagnosis as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in resolving problems and emergencies.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for working with clients, families, staff, and agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care inpatient healthcare preferred.
