** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as directed.

+ Perform armed patrol duties and maintain a professional presence to help to deter unauthorized activity; conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, critical equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter as assigned.

+ Monitor access control points and visitor processing, verify identification and/or credentials, and manage entry and exit in accordance with site requirements for a technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and public emergency services when needed.

+ Complete required reports and documentation, communicate notable conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support investigations by preserving observations and records.

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Have Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
