TYPE: Contract
LOCATION: Norristown, PA

START DATE: March 2026
We are seeking a QA Analyst III to plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities across the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, monitoring and control, analysis and design, implementation and execution, evaluation of exit criteria, reporting, and test closure. This role requires hands-on technical involvement in test data provisioning, test data management, and validation of complex systems, working closely with developers, project managers, and business partners.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish testing goals and approaches for software changes across multiple testing levels and phases. Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to determine appropriate testing strategies, including risk-based approaches. Testing efforts may span component, integration, system, and acceptance testing, and incorporate functional, non-functional, regression, confirmation, and structural (white-box) testing methods.
- Identify, analyze, and prepare test data to support defined test conditions, including boundary and error scenarios. Analyze input sources such as electronic files, message traffic, and user input variations. Produce expected results or repeatable validation methods using existing data, including the creation of database queries and tester reference materials.
- Convert testing objectives into meaningful test conditions and test cases based on documented requirements, system architecture, application behavior, data flows, and existing datasets. Apply structural testing techniques and contribute to test design by identifying critical scenarios, high-risk areas, and key validation points.
- Track testing progress against defined plans, continuously evaluate results and coverage, and adjust testing activities as needed. Communicate test status, risks, and outcomes through regular reporting to project teams and stakeholders.
- Develop, prioritize, and execute test procedures while configuring test environments and preparing required test data. Perform hands-on testing of database-related components such as views, stored procedures, functions, and data migration or conversion processes. Provide support for user acceptance testing and coordinate database model changes between production, staging, test, and development environments.
- Ensure all testing activities are performed in compliance with established software testing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assess test execution results against predefined objectives and exit criteria. Deliver required documentation, metrics, and reports as defined at the team or project level.
- Develop tools and processes to compare expected and actual results across databases, files, message streams, and user interfaces. Create realistic, production-representative test data that supports end-to-end business processes while remaining efficient for test execution. Extract and subset production data from multiple sources and script data setup, file creation, variable updates, and database cleanup activities.
- 7+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing
- Strong business and customer-focused mindset
- Salesforce testing experience required
- Experience with usability testing and user-centered design principles
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
- Working knowledge of Oracle databases and the ability to write SQL queries
- Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and stakeholders
- Highly motivated, positive, and solution-oriented approach
- Experience working on large, cross-functional teams with multiple business owners
- Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum or other iterative development methodologies
- Experience with test-driven and/or behavior-driven development practices
- Scripting experience using relevant languages or tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with automated testing tools such as SOAPUI, TOSCA, and scriptless automation platforms
- Proven experience testing complex, technically sophisticated applications
