We are looking for a Enterprise Risk Management Analyst. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst acts as a subject matter expert in risk management, supporting senior ERM leadership in implementing and advancing risk management practices across the organization. This role is responsible for contributing to risk assessments, analysis, reporting, and providing internal consulting to business divisions. Strong skills in communication, quantitative analysis, facilitation, and risk reporting are essential for success.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update the ERM risk register.
- Support divisional Risk Champions in applying ERM processes and initiatives.
- Prepare ERM reports and dashboards for leadership and the Board, including heat maps, emerging risks, mitigation plans, and other ad hoc reporting needs.
- Partner with business divisions to monitor departmental risk profiles, provide training, and deliver risk management expertise and guidance.
- Track and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and associated tolerances for leadership and the Board.
- Assist the ERM team in deploying a standardized Enterprise Risk Management program, including processes and training for business partners.
- Update and maintain ERM policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Implement processes for monitoring and tracking risk responses.
- Support risk integration efforts across Internal Audit, Compliance, and IT.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Risk Management certification (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, audit, or compliance.
- Skilled in meeting facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience with a Big 4 firm (KPMG, PwC, Client, EY) is ideal.
- Solid understanding of risk management concepts, terminology, and reporting methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
- Familiarity with the energy industry, particularly Independent System Operators (ISOs) or Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) is preferred.
