Student Employee - Group Fitness, F45, or Yoga Instructor:
Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position will create a positive exercise experience. This position is a professional who teaches, leads, and motivates groups through intentionally designed exercise classes. They plan effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels. They also possess a wealth of motivational and leadership techniques that help their classes achieve fitness goals. Instructors know the human body, the science of exercise, and how to inspire, challenge, and motivate change in the lives of the people they lead.

Required
Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2026 ONE class schedule
Skills:
- Must be able to train all ages and special populations
- If applying for Yoga, must have the ability to obtain certification or completion of 200-hour yoga training through a Yoga Alliance RYS
200 school within 6 months - If applying for Group Fitness Instructor, must have the ability to obtain a certification accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) within 6 months

Physical Requirements:
- Regular exposure to disagreeable conditions, extreme temperature changes, odors, and hazardous chemicals
- Lifting and carrying loads up to 50 pounds
- Excessive use of arms in a back-and-forth motion, stooping and bending
- Prolonged standing and walking
- May have constant exposure to loud noises
Preferred
Skills:
- Group Fitness Instructors currently certified through a NCCA accredited organization such as NETA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or NSCA
- Yoga instructors currently certified through a Yoga Alliance RYS
200 school
