Overview

Produce Clerk – Join Sprouts Farmers Market and work in the most popular department, delivering an outstanding customer service experience in a fast‑paced, friendly environment.

As a Produce Clerk you will:

• Live the brand daily by handling, preparing, merchandising, and rotating produce to keep products fresh and appealing.
• Stock the department, face, fill, and organize all product items as outlined by the Produce Department schematics.
• Ensure accurate tagging and pricing while maximizing inventory control to maintain product freshness and availability.
• Provide friendly, helpful assistance to customers and answer questions about our fresh produce.

Team members under the age of 18 will be restricted from the following tasks:

• Using a knife (other than safety cutters)
• Using a ladder
• Operating garbage or cardboard compactor
• Operating any motor/electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks)
• Working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods of time

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Dependable with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exhibits mutual respect, high ethical standards, and thrives in Sprouts’ culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills; able to take direction and collaborate with a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive activities, multi‑tasking, and staying organized.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, stack, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance; capable of walking up to 5 miles during an 8‑hour shift.
• Adhering to all safety, health, OSHA, and Weights & Measures regulations.
• Willing to perform other related duties as assigned.
