Departmental Overview
Our Emergency Departments operate 24/7 and provide stabilization and life‑saving care to 95,000+ patients each year. We operate as a Level III trauma center, take care of all medical emergencies, specialize in patients with active strokes and heart attacks, work with two dozen EMS agencies, and collaborate with ED physicians, residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Norman Regional ED has 45 beds, Norman Regional Nine has 12 beds and Moore ED has 13 beds.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals ready for a fast‑paced environment who are able to deliver the best patient experience to our customers, function well in a dynamic team, and represent our health system well.
- $20/hr.
- Higher RN rate begins after passing NCLEX
- Evening differential $2.50/hr.
- Night differential $3.00/hr.
- Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

- Provides basic patient care
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- Takes and records vital sign (VS) data and relays to patient's nurse
- Provides general nursing care and routine treatment /procedures (under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse)
- Facilitates processing of patients
- Provide documentation of completion of a program of registered nursing and eligibility to write the licensure examination in Oklahoma
- The graduate may continue to be employed in a Nurse Resident role until licensed, provided that the first licensure examination is taken within 90 days after graduation and the examination is passed within 6 months of graduation, on either the first or the second attempt
- If the examination is failed after the second attempt, the Nurse Resident can no longer remain in the Nurse Resident position
- Graduates of registered nursing program with concurrent LPN license will also be placed in Nurse Resident role
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure/Certification /Registration/Professional Designation ETC- Active Oklahoma LPN license or active Multistate LPN/LVN license, if applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re‑training for duration of employment
- Complete the 1yr Vizient Nurse Residency Program
