CNA; Certified Nursing Assistant

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team! 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday. A rewarding career awaits at a facility specializing in long‑term and rehabilitative care.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant
, you will work an 8‑hour shift, providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Provide personal care to residents in a manner that promotes safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies.
• Be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Assure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
