Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days) Norman OK
The Health Plex campus has 6 operating rooms in the main OR with services of orthopedics, general, and ENT, 1 hybrid room for cardiac cases, and 3 operating rooms for GYN and Robotic cases.

RN essential functions include but are not limited to:

--Collaboration with other health professionals

--Assessment, Analyzing assessment data

--Establishing goals

--Planning care strategy

--Establishing priorities of care

--implementing care

--delegating tasks safely

--providing safe direct and indirect nursing care

--evaluating responses to interventions

--performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.

--plans, prepares, and provides individualized peri-operative care utilizing the nursing process

--directs surgery department staff in the care of the surgical patient

--Takes responsibility for call and call back duties

--Flex interdepartmentally as needed

Requirement description :

• 2 years of experience
  - Required
• General Surgery, robotics, urology, neurosurgery
  - Required

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to specialty
• 2 Supervisory References, from the past 12 months of employment
• License/Certifications (ARRT or RCIS & ACLS, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• CNOR
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Oklahoma

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : 1 full weekend per month (Fri-Sun)
On Call Requirements : 6 call shifts per month with a 30 minute response
