Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 3pm to 11pm

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. The facility specializes in long-term and rehabilitative care. As a CNA at Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, you will work an 8-hour shift, provide residents with personal care, assist the charge nurse, and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team that is recognized for achievements and contributions.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
