Job Summary: Provides specialized, onsite wound care in patients' homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities include assessments, care plan development, patient and caregiver education, and collaboration with healthcare teams to promote healing.
Qualifications: Licensed MD/DO with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Must complete Wound Care Certification within 6 months. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner acceptable.
Physical & Mental Requirements: Requires physical effort, mobility, sensitivity. Ability to work independently in diverse environments, handle stress, and demonstrate emotional stability.
Working Conditions: Field‑based role involving travel to various healthcare settings, exposure to biohazards, adherence to safety protocols. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Essential Functions: Conduct wound assessments, perform treatments, supervise staff, document care, coordinate with healthcare providers, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary from $200,000/year with benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and flexible schedule.
