Compensation & Benefits

• $18.08-$29.53/hr based on previous background.
• Evening differential $2.00/hr.
• Night differential $2.50/hr.
• Weekend differential $2.50/hr.

Our Surgical unit is a 32‑bed unit that cares for a wide variety of medical‑surgical patients. Primary patient population includes neurosurgeries, general abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomies. We provide training for general medical‑surgical, telemetry, and neurosurgery, working with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.

• Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
• Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
• Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
• Documents nursing care and activities.
• Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
• Assists the departmental assistant with clinical matters.
• Maintains the exam/treatment rooms and work environment.
• Assists with the training of other staff.

• Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.

• Prefer previous hospital experience.
• Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary.
• If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance.

• Current Oklahoma State LPN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re‑training for the duration of employment.
