Responsibilities- Optimize manufacturing processes focused on assembly line operations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Operations, Quality, Scheduling, Design Engineering, and sheet metal Fabrication.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools and present solutions to higher management.
- Take ownership of projects, acting as the lead and primary point of contact with internal and external contractors and contributors.
- Identify bottlenecks, implement solutions.
- Apply a strong background in 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis, and problem‑solving techniques, leading and delivering results in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry or industrial assembly lines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with Engineering Change (EC) processes, review of assembly drawings and coordination of new product implementation (NPI) for assembly production.
- Skilled in creating Work Instructions and Operational Method Sheets (OMS).
- Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills to interact with higher management and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong background in Lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Gemba, and Kaizen.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- May be required to perform other related duties as needed to meet the needs of the organization.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations and sheet metal fabrication processes.
