Responsibilities
  • Administer the payroll process for the company, including accurate management of bonus and commission structures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate necessary payments.
  • Accurately manage escrow accounts and maintain organized tracking.
  • Deposit account receivables daily.
  • Process payroll, COBRA services, and employee benefits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
  • Handle correspondence with insurance representatives.
  • Deposit funds for operating and escrow accounts.
  • Process earnest money check requests.
  • Pay benefit invoices monthly and reconcile A/R for benefits.
  • Administer and maintain payroll system, including leave and FMLA tracking.
  • Post general ledger entries in a timely manner.
  • Produce reports for the Department of Labor and insurance audits.
  • Prepare, plan, and execute benefits open enrollment annually.
  • Support payroll and benefits for sister companies.
  • Meet with new hires to review benefits, leave policies, and payroll processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient in Threadkore ERP system for homebuilders and mortgage companies.
  • Experience with Paycom Payroll System.
  • Familiarity with Laserfiche paperless filing program.
  • Strong analytical, organization, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • Experience with Quick Books Enterprise.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Basic math and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple unrelated tasks.
Days and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm or 9 am–6 pm.

FLSA Status

Non‑exempt.

Physical Demands

The employee must sit, talk, and hear for most of the day, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stand and walk occasionally, and lift or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting with moderate noise levels.
