Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist
Functions: As a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist at our esteemed healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in our cardiology department. You will be responsible for operating specialized imaging equipment to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Your key functions will include:
- Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, including angiograms, cardiac catheterizations, and vascular ultrasound examinations.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Monitoring patients during procedures and providing support as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality.

- A degree or certification in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in operating cardiovascular imaging equipment.

- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Prior experience in cardiovascular radiology is preferred.
- Candidates must hold current certification as a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (CVRT) or a related certification.
- A valid state radiologic technologist license is required. Candidates should be eligible for licensure in the state where the facility is located.
- Some additional specialized certifications or licenses may be required based on state regulations and facility needs. These may include certification in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) or other relevant certifications.
