Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist

Functions: As a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist at our esteemed healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in our cardiology department. You will be responsible for operating specialized imaging equipment to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Your key functions will include:

• Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, including angiograms, cardiac catheterizations, and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Monitoring patients during procedures and providing support as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• A degree or certification in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in operating cardiovascular imaging equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Prior experience in cardiovascular radiology is preferred.

• Candidates must hold current certification as a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (CVRT) or a related certification.

• A valid state radiologic technologist license is required. Candidates should be eligible for licensure in the state where the facility is located.

• Some additional specialized certifications or licenses may be required based on state regulations and facility needs. These may include certification in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) or other relevant certifications.
