Financial Inclusion Representative

Overview

The New Orleans Firemen's FCU is looking for a Financial Inclusion Representative to join the Financial Inclusion team.

• Effectively process Faith Fund loan applications
• Responsible for establishing accounts for members and obtaining required lending information
• Assists with opening Perkup Savers accounts
• Counsels members regarding debt management plans and budget plans to determine if further financial counseling should be suggested
• Schedules members for counseling sessions, and makes recommendations regarding restructuring of members' accounts
• Offers financial counseling and assistance in helping members restructure their finances, while enhancing credit union profitability
• Responsible for tracking members in Sales Force and following up with those members
• Responsible for reporting on Sales Force
• Required viewing of Federation webinars to stay compliant
• Evaluates overall financial picture of Freedom Loan applicants and make suggestions regarding finances
• Creates opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services
• Effectively articulates the benefits and features of NOFFCU's products and services
• Properly completes all documents
• Contacts member to let them know the status of their loan
• Obtains all required documents and information to process Freedom Loans and any other approved loans
• Processes Freedom Loans and sends e-docs for the member to sign
• Exercises professionalism and good judgment in dealing with members and co-workers
• This position does require travel to the Total Community Action (TCA) location of NOFFCU, located at 1422 So. Norman
  
  C. Francis Pkwy., as well as the West Jeff location of NOFFCU located in West Jeff Hospital.

• Understanding of all inclusive lending products - including but not limited to Faith Fund Loans, (Freedom Loans, Ride Smart Loans and Affordable Housing Loans), Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Rescue Loans, and Empower Loans

The tiered range for this position is $21.11/hr. to $26.95/hr.
