Position: Full Time Teller - Norman Campus

Tellers are responsible for efficiently processing a variety of customer transactions while providing the highest level of service and identifying bank products and services that would benefit customers. Tellers must be proactive, friendly and courteous and continually seek opportunities to impress those they serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers and fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Processing transactions accurately and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Generating new business and expanding relationships by cross‑selling bank products and services.
  • Building customer loyalty through excellent service.
  • Responding to inquiries by researching and identifying positive solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or POS transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment.
  • Excellent customer‑service skills, including oral and written communication.
  • Team player with ability to contribute to a positive environment and achieve goals.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; adherence to bank procedures and regulations.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and confident personality.
  • Computer proficiency and 10‑key operation.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of banking products and procedures.
  • Sales record in retail or banking.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (fluent verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Physical Requirements

This position requires long periods of standing or sitting, typing, and repetitive motion. Candidates must be able to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.

Operating Hours
  • Monday – Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.;
    Saturday: 8:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. (Full‑time employees scheduled for 40 hours per week).
  • Weekend availability required.
Training & Certification

All Tellers participate in informal and paid formal training, including one full week of training/testing scheduled Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. within the first three weeks of employment. Candidates must successfully pass the Teller Certification test to operate a Teller drawer.

Education

High School diploma required.
