Overview
Job Description - Bursar Collections Assistant (Spring) (260473). Join the University of Oklahoma Bursar Services team and build professional experience while supporting fellow students. This part-time position offers steady, flexible hours during the academic year and requires availability to work during the summer term — though summer enrollment is not required.
Responsibilities- Assist students with their past due student accounts in person, via email, and over the phone.
- Collect payments for student accounts in this population.
- Perform outreach and due-diligence collection efforts on these accounts.
- Process returned mail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2026 class schedule.
- Must be able to answer Bursar related questions from students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude during stressful situations
- Possess organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Sensitivity, knowledge and understanding to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and from diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications
