Join our innovative and entrepreneurial startup team! This position is located within Startup OU at the Tom Love Innovation Hub. As an intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working in a startup environment while collaborating with researchers, student entrepreneurs, and professionals during the earliest stages of startup development. Support these startups by utilizing your skills while also gaining valuable experience that you can leverage after graduation.
Responsibilities- Support the daily operations, maintenance, and organization of Startup OU.
- Student Interns must be able to work up to 15 hours per week.
- Required to attend one‑on‑one sessions with manager once every 3 weeks.
- Student interns must maintain business professionalism while working with their organizations.
- Student interns must also meet the requirements set by the organization they are interning with.
- Work closely with startup founders, university researchers, and innovators.
- Develop valuable hands‑on skills in product development, tech development, design thinking, accounting, marketing, and more.
- Gain insight into startup culture and entrepreneurial problem‑solving.
- Build relationships with a varied community of startup and venture professionals.
Required
Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Must maintain good academic standing with the University of Oklahoma.
