Overview
The Department of Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine invites applications for faculty positions at the level of Full Professor (tenure track). Requirements for the position include a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree. Candidates applying for Full Professor will have a track record of federal funding and maintaining a nationally recognized research program. Preferred areas of research include those that fit within or expand upon the Department’s activity in microbial pathogenesis (bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic), host-microbe interactions, antimicrobial resistance, and immunology.

Successful applicants will receive a competitive salary and startup package. Additional Departmental and institutional resources include AAALAC-accredited animal facilities, BSL3 laboratory space, and state-of-the-art core facilities that support genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, flow cytometry, metabolomics, imaging and microscopy.
