Resident Advisors are responsible for assisting the Headington Hall Administration in developing, coordinating, and maintaining a positive intellectual, emotional, and social living environment for students. They provide support, encouragement, and leadership to their community and serve as role models. Resident Advisors live in the community for which they are responsible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain awareness of each resident's academic achievement through ongoing contact and knowledge of available resources for academic assistance.
- Support the social development of residents and plan hall programming that aligns with the four pillars of the university experience.
- Encourage personal responsibility for establishing a conducive living environment (quiet hours, visitation regulations, etc.) and take appropriate action when needed.
- Collaborate with Faculty-in-Residence and other academic resources; follow NCAA Compliance guidelines regarding student-athletes; comply with University Academic Integrity Policies.

Education:
Must be currently enrolled in Spring 2026 term and plan to enroll in Fall 2026 term as a University of Oklahoma student. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. - Must attach Spring 2026 class schedule.
- Must provide valid student r and proof of enrollment for 2026.
- Must plan to enroll in Fall 2026 and have enrollment verification authenticated again in Summer 2026 for Fall 2026.
- Must maintain a 2.7 GPA and remain continuously enrolled full-time during employment.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have lived on campus at least two semesters.
- Aware of residents’ academic achievements and able to connect students with appropriate resources.
- Promote discussions and programs emphasizing academics.
- Comply with NCAA policies on student-athlete benefits and University academic integrity policies.
- Work with Faculty-in-Residence and other academic resources.
