Position DetailsOrganization: Housing Passport Office
Job Location: Oklahoma Memorial Union
Schedule: Part‑time (Saturday and Sunday afternoons; some Monday‑Friday hours 8 am‑5 pm)
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week
Work Type: On‑site
Salary: $12.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job DescriptionOU Passport provides an important service to the community by accepting and initiating all necessary paperwork to request a current passport. Student Assistants should be 18 years or older and able to provide excellent customer service to a variety of community members. Student Assistants may be required to open/close OU Passport with little to no supervision.
Responsibilities- Operate standard office equipment.
- Perform general clerical duties.
- Maintain exceptionally precise filing systems and records.
- Verify and submit via the US Postal Service all pertinent passport application documents in accordance with federal processes and guidelines.
- Answer guest questions regarding passports and answer phone calls.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a U.S. citizen*
- Preference provided to students who can continue working through Summer 2026.
- Must be currently enrolled in the Spring semester as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Provide a current Spring 2026 class schedule.
- Motivated and able to follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
- Grasp objects with fingers or hands.
- Able to reach above head.
- Stand for short or extended periods.
- Speak.
- See (color, depth perception and clarity).
- Hear (receive detailed information orally or make fine determination in sound).
- Lift 15–44 pounds.
- Preference for experience with precise data collection and processing.
- Any previous clerical/administrative experience.
