Overview

Cross Med is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Normal, Illinois.

Job Details includes specialty Med Surg, RN, start date 03/09/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, shift 12 hours, travel employment type.

• Provide patient care in the Med Surg clinic setting as an RN.
• Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures depending on unit.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
• Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Administer and document care accurately and coordinate with other health team members to provide patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school.
• Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
• Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling.
• Communication and collaboration with physicians and other health team members.
• Ability to monitor patient responses to interventions and report outcomes.
• Knowledge of on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Must maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills; cognitive demands; sensory skills for clinical tasks.
