Overview
The Medical Assistant maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.
Qualifications- Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA) - Education:
H.S. Diploma/GED (Required) - Work Experience:

- Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Maintain patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- Intake process:
Height, Weight, BP, Resp. Rate, Pulse, Pain, Medication Review - Clean Stock Rooms
- Order Supplies
- Maintain flow of patient / provider schedule
- Provide support to nursing staff.
- Maintain par level of supplies in exam rooms.
- Maintain Expiration Log of supplies and medications.
- Perform EKGs.
- Perform Spirometry.

The compensation range for this position is $17.12 per hour - $27.73 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
