Job Summary
The ASL Lab instructor will oversee students in labs associated with ASL courses. The ASL Lab instructor will collaborate with the course instructor-of-record to plan and execute practical activities for students during these labs. Lab activities are meant to support students at various levels as they develop proficiency in ASL.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
Starting at $400 per month based on Part Time Equivalent for a 1-credit hour course.
Required Qualifications
1) Bachelor's degree or higher in special education or closely related field.
2) A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a special educator or in a related field working with individuals with disabilities.
3) Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in American Sign Language.
4) Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience instructing at the college level.
Experience with learning management systems (i.e. Canvas)
