Illinois State University, a NCAA Division I institution, member of the Missouri Valley Conference invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Redbird Productions within the department of Athletics. This pre-professional, 12-month position includes a tuition waiver and a stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State’s Graduate School.

• On game days, may assist with ESPN/Marquee Sports Network Broadcast Operations which may include the following roles:
  Camera Operator, Replay Operator, Technical Director, Audio Engineer, Graphics Operator.
• Serve as broadcast producer for Redbird Soccer, Women’s Basketball and Gymnastics on ESPN+.
• Assist with training of Redbird Productions student staff members.
• May be asked to assist with projects/tasks alongside other Illinois State Athletics departments that include but are not limited to Redbird Creative Video, Marketing and Promotions, Development, and Redbird Sports Properties.

As a part of your responsibilities, you will follow the regulations and guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference or the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Athletics Department, and Illinois State University.

This 12-month appointment will consist of a 2-month summer hourly student position and a 10-month GA appointment from August to May.
