DescriptionWe seek a Project Coordinator to support and coordinate all phases of project workflow for creative design, video, and photography requests submitted to Marketing from campus partners. This position is responsible for project intake, workflow, communication, and documentation to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. The Project Coordinator also serves as the primary liaison with vendors to secure competitive pricing for printed projects.
GeneralResponsibilities
- Manage the Marketing project intake system. Receive, review, and process initial project submissions.
- Initiate follow‑up communications and production meetings to outline the goals, timelines, parameters, and deliverables, ensuring projects are on track for completion.
- Assess production issues and determine the best course of action for resolution.
- Foster and manage effective working relationships with vendors to secure accurate and competitive bids. Continually compare vendor capabilities, pricing, and seek new vendors as required to benefit the College.
- Utilize project management software to maintain updates, which include photography, video, digital, and print components for reference by internal Marketing team members and campus partners.
- Serve as a direct assistant to the Director, Creative Design Services, supporting various functions ranging from graphic design to administrative duties.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the print industry, including current industry techniques, paper options, variable data, finishes, bindery, and the capability of each print resource.
- Experience securing competitive quotes from qualified vendors based on knowledge of their capabilities, pricing, and design requirements.
- Basic understanding of USPS postal regulations and related design requirements for mailings, as well as mailing list maintenance, such as scrubbing and updating.
- Ability to interact positively with students, College personnel, vendors, and community members, and receive constructive feedback with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem‑solve and function professionally in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Graphic design experience, including understanding of design principles, typography, and use of color in a layout, and demonstrated ability to design within brand guidelines.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop) and Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
