Experienced Craftsman custom builder

For 50 years, Knapp Builders has been striving to be the premier custom builder and remodeler in Central Illinois. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes and project management, with the ability to read blueprints effectively.

This role requires excellent time management and project coordination skills to ensure that all building projects are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

• Possess a strong understanding of the building process.
• Ability to be responsible for organizing, supervising, scheduling of multiple commercial and residential projects.
• Work closely with Knapp Builders owners and site foremen to give our customers a remarkable experience.
• Utilize software tools for project management and documentation.
• Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborate with various subcontractors and Knapp Builders carpentry staff to manage project timelines and resources effectively.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding project progress, challenges, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the construction process.
• Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Responsible for organizing, supervising, scheduling multiple commercial and residential projects.
• Professional appearance, consistent, excellent follow-up, organized, timely and disciplined.
• Be able to send detailed weekly project update to customers.
• Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft office 365.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in project scheduling and coordination is highly desirable.

• Detail Oriented – Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
