Job Summary

Assign and control all work of a Building Service nature. To ensure compliance with all applicable codes for all employees under his/her direction.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$27.25 per hour

Required Qualifications
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in building custodial work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • A final candidate must complete a post‑offer pre‑employment physical exam. Employment is contingent on the successful result of the pre‑employment physical.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Building Service materials, methods, and procedures.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Knowledge of cleaning solutions and custodial methods.
  • Supervisory ability.
  • Ability to read and write work‑related communications, reports, etc.
  • Work Hours

    Shifts vary; days off to be determined on hire

    Functional Expectations

    Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to walk and stand for 6‑8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist; ability to climb ladders and stairs; ability to work above shoulder level for extended periods of time; ability to work around dust, fumes, and environmental irritants.
  • Performs Building Service work during training, including such tasks as mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors, cleaning and waxing floors, and collecting and disposing of refuse.
