Damage Control Warehouse Assistant –

• Inventories, receives, and stores all Damage Control (DC) equipment within the DC Warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas within the facility, including office spaces, warehouse area, and exterior structures.
• Operate government equipment and coordinate the download of DC equipment and material when deliveries arrive.
• Assist Ships Force with inspecting the drop of damage control equipment and material to ensure we keep the most current re‑issue items.
• Provide lists and palletize material that is no longer usable for disposal to DRMO.
• Operate a pallet jack and perform troubleshooting and minor repairs of DC equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleanliness tasks of assigned areas, submit trouble calls for repairs beyond scope of contract such as repair of facility equipment.
• Provide basic task oversight to up to three temporarily assigned Sailors who perform logistical support as needed.
• Provide on‑site subject matter expert response to in‑person, telephone or e‑mail inquiries or concerns regarding the CNSL Damage Control Re‑use during normal office hours if not already engaged in off‑office CNSL Damage Control Re‑use matters.

• At least 2 years of experience working with Navy Shipboard Damage Control (DC) equipment and policies.
• At least 2 years of experience working with general building management and inventory control for receiving and distributing parts.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• OSHA 10 Maritime Safety course completion required.

Candidate must hold a Secret security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a CAC; a company background investigation is required.
