General Laborer; Security Clearance

Position Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting the various shipboard trades, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode. A Shipboard General Labor preforms multi tasks including fire watch, driver and cable pulling.
• May perform simple repairs on machinery.
• Transports materials, tools, and equipment to and within work sites as required.

• US Citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Base Access.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of marine/maritime related experience.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.
• Ability to work aboard ships which includes frequent climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Must have a Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Must pass drug screening as a condition of employment.
