McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This position does not require a CDL-only a valid driver's license. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for timely and accurate deliveries while upholding company policies and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and being home daily.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Perform daily delivery routes based on the weekly schedule set by management
- Safely operate a company vehicle while following all applicable DOT regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading products from delivery trucks
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Adhere to McCarthy Tire Service policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Learn, perform, and maintain all preventive maintenance (PM) requirements
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and performance checks
- Return home daily
- Additional duties may arise as business needs change; candidates must be willing to take on new responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years
- Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Flexible schedule availability
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Authorized to work in the United States
